Pink Berries CO2
Fresh, rich, and spicy with hints of juniper, the aroma of Pink Berries CO2 is wonderfully stimulating to the senses. It is extracted from the berries of a flowering evergreen shrub, commonly known as the Brazilian Pepper tree, which is native to subtropical and tropical South America. As the berries mature, they turn pink, and are also known as “pink pepper” and “false pepper.” Despite these popular alternative names, it is not related to any plant in the Pepper family. However, Pink Berries CO2 is used in perfumery as an alternative to Black Pepper due to its exotic, spicy scent.
Pink Berries CO2 makes a great addition to spicy, fruity, woody, and floral blends. When used topically, it is known to help calm occasional digestive upset or to ease the discomfort associated with sore muscles due to overexertion.
To help calm occasional digestive upset, add 2-3 drops of Pink Berries CO2 to a teaspoon of your favorite carrier oil and apply to the abdomen. For muscles that are sore after a strenuous workout, blend 3 drops of Pink Berries CO2 with 3 drops of Copaiba Oleoresin in a teaspoon of carrier oil and apply to the areas of concern. For topical application, dilute to 2-4% in a carrier oil.
Since it is stimulating to the senses, Pink Berries CO2 is also great for diffusion! Blend with Bergamot Essential Oil when you need a mental boost. For a festive, spicy aroma, add 4 drops of Pink Berries CO2, 3 drops of Juniper Berry, and 1 drop of Rose Absolute to your favorite Plant Therapy diffuser.
